The Friends of Garrettsville Library are sponsoring a fun evening at the Candlelight Winery on August 10th, to benefit our local library. There will be a silent auction starting at 6:00pm and a performance by Damaris Peters-Pike as Doris Day (7:30-8:30pm) followed by a family-friendly outdoor light show.
Enjoy an evening of fun for the entire family! From 4-7pm bring a picnic or purchase something from the menu. All beverages must be bought from the menu. See the Candlelight Winery’s website. From 6-7 enjoy a silent auction, checks or cash accepted. From 7-8:50 The Candlelight Winery provides activities and crafts ($2 per craft) for the children. See their website. From 7:30-8:30 performance by Damaris Peters-Pike as Doris Day. At 9pm the Candlelight Winery will provide a light show. Bring your lawn chairs, blankets, and/or a picnic. Monetary donations will be gratefully accepted during the evening.
We also need items donated for the silent auction. Have any tickets to an Indian’s game you can’t use? Consider donating them! Do you make jewelry or have a knack for assembling themed baskets? Or maybe you’d like to support a local business you believe in by purchasing a gift certificate and donating it to this good cause. Whatever you could donate would help. Ed and Libby Frato-Sweeney will happily pick up items or you can drop them off at their house or at the Garrettsville Library.
