The 8th annual Golf Outing for the Mantua Chamber Scholarship Fund was held on June 6th at the beautifully renovated Tanglewood Country Club in Bainbridge. It was a beautiful day filled with sunshine and anticipation as 16 teams tee’d off at 12:30.
Co-Chairs, Graham Harmon and Joann Vance want to personally thank everyone who took part in the event, from the 16 teams, 39 hole sponsors, multi gift donators giving each golfer something to take home, to the excellent service and dinner provided by the staff at Tanglewood.
Through the generosity of all these people, the Chamber Scholarship fund will now have an additional $3,700 to provide two $1,000 scholarships to deserving Crestwood High School seniors for the year 2013, as well as additional funds to keep the account growing.
Post reviews from all that attended indicate that everyone is already looking forward to next year’s outing.
