Zachary Daniel Peterson, 24, of Garrettsville, OH passed away with his family by his side on July 16, 2023 after a short unexpected illness He was born June 4, 1999 in Ravenna to Daniel and Jama McMillan Peterson. He was a proud 2017 graduate of James A Garfield High School. Zach worked with his dad and uncle at the family business, GeeVille Auto Parts.
Zach enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Zach will be missed by his parents Dan and Jama, sister Krista and brother-in-law Ronald Hardway, nephew Orion Hardway, grandmother Wanda Peterson, and the love of his life Libby, many aunts, uncles, cousins and dear, dear friends.
He was preceded in death by grandparents Jack & Wanda McMillan, and grandfather Jimmy Peterson.
Please join the family for a memorial visitation to honor Zach on Saturday July 22, 2023 from 2 – 5 pm at Faith Evangelical Free Church, 10585 Windham-Parkman Road, Garrettsville. Pastor Michael Grantz officiating. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to JAG All Sports Boosters in memory of Zachary Peterson. The family is very thankful for the outpouring love and support during this difficult time. We would like to thank the wonderful staff at UH Portage ICU for the amazing care and dedication they showed Zach.
