Stephen A. Hrobak, 81, of Southington, formerly of Garrettsville, went home to his Lord and Savior Friday, April 28, 2023, at home, surrounded by his loving family. He was born February 6, 1942, in Ravenna, to the late Steve and Genevieve (nee Hojnowski) Hrobak.
He grew up in the quiet streets of Garrettsville. Steve was a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy. He worked at Packard for 34 years as a millwright. Steve found joy in woodworking, and relaxed when performing yard work. Steve was a traveling man; he liked cruises, bus trips, and boat rides with his family.
Steve will be deeply missed by his beloved wife, Jean (nee Kovacs) Hrobak, who was blessed to share over 56 years of marriage; children, Christine (Bill) Chovan, Dawn (Shaun) Williams, and Steve (Victoria) Hrobak; grandchildren, Mark, Nicholas, Samantha, Amanda, Kyla, Isabella, and Karter; brother, Edward (Linda) Hrobak, and many nephews, nieces, and dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and his brothers, Theodore Hrobak and Daniel Hrobak.

A funeral service will begin at the funeral home at 1:00 P.M., with Fr. Joseph Ruggieri officiating. Steve will then be laid to rest at Park Cemetery, Center St. & Brosius Rd., Garrettsville, OH 44231, where he will receive full military honors.
