“Into the Woods” Coming to JAG

410

Garrettsville – The spring musical at James A. Garfield High School is returning for another year. After ending a two-year dry-spell due to COVID-19 in 2022 by performing “The Little Mermaid,” the JAG Musical Theatre Department is ready to go once again. This time, it will be Stephen Sondheim’s “Into the Woods.” (As a note, this version is not exactly the same as the 2014 Disney movie.) The show will include performances from a baker and his wife, some princesses, a witch, and many more.

Show times are Thursday-Saturday, March 23-25. All three days have a show at 7pm, and Saturday also has a matinee at 2pm. All four shows will be in the Iva Walker Auditorium at James A. Garfield High School. Tickets are $5 for students and seniors, and $10 for adults. They can be bought on showtix4u.com by searching “James A. Garfield.” https://www.showtix4u.com/event-details/70568

Come out for an entertaining night to support the hard-working actors and actresses this weekend, as they reenact some classic fairy tales. Make sure you get your chance to see if the path really is straight, but be careful, for there might be giants in the sky.
