Crestwood Lions Club Will Be At Mantua Potato Festival

The Crestwood Lions will be at this years’ Mantua Potato Festival from Friday, September 9th, through Sunday, September 11th. The Lions Club will be selling their delicious Festival food in addition to holding a plastic drive thru collecting soft plastic from 10am until 2pm at Buchert Memorial Park. Plastics accepted are grocery bags, bread bags, bubble wrap, dry cleaning bags, ice bags, plastic shipping envelopes, Ziploc and other food storage bags, cases overwrap, (i.e., water bottle cases), cereal bags, salt bags, plastic wrap and stretch film, wood pellet bags, produce bags. All plastic must be clean, dry and free of food residue. For every 500 pounds collected, the Crestwood Lions will receive a TREX composite outdoor bench. The bench will be donated to the local community. The Lions Club will also be collecting used eyeglasses and hearing aids that are no longer needed.
