Conchita Sue “Connie” Denvir, 81 years of age, passed away Thursday May 27, 2021 at her residence. Born in New Lexington, Ohio on December 13, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Florence (Flowers) Nutter. She was a member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church, and had been employed for 24 years as a medical secretary at the Windham Clinic, then at the Med center in Kent.
Additionally she had been employed as a medical secretary at Robinson Memorial Hospital from 1988, retiring in 2009. She enjoyed the Thursday Lunch Bunch in Hiram, and will be remembered for riding her John Deere, always with the “Gilligan Hat”. Survivors include her children Cheryl A. (Henry) Denvir-Lee, and Thomas J. Denvir, both of Windham, brother Larry Nutter, grandchildren Michael, Joseph, Thomas E. Denvir II, and Jacob Higginbotham, and 8 great-grandchildren. Proceeding in death were her children David and Christopher, 5 brothers, 2 sisters, and her loving 4 legged child “GoJo”. Per her wishes, no calling hours, and a private graveside service officiated by Rev. James Lang will be at Windham Township Cemetery.
