Visit Healthcare is providing COVID-19 testing to Portage County residents. Testing is available Monday through Saturday from 10:00 am – 3:00 pm from February 6 through May 1, 2021. All insurances are accepted (including Medicare and Medicaid). Uninsured individuals will also be accepted. There is no out of pocket cost for testing. Individuals can expect test results within 24-48 hours.
This is an effort to increase COVID-19 testing opportunities for Portage County residents. The testing sites will be operated by Visit Healthcare, a healthcare company focused on emergency response. Testing is provided through the partnership of Visit Healthcare, Midway Drive-In, Portage County Health District, and Core Bio Labs.
The testing is free and convenient for individuals with or without symptoms. No appointment is needed, and a health care provider referral is not needed. Individuals of any age may be tested but those under 18 will need the signed consent of a parent or guardian. Mask/Face coverings must be worn at all times. Pre-registration is highly recommended prior to arrival at the testing site in order to save time.
