Dear Villager,
Thanks so much for continuing to keep The Villager operating to update us on the news around the Village and surrounding areas!
Thanks to Iva Walker for continuing to find humor in life and giving us something to laugh about in this challenging time!
Thanks to Pochedley’s for introducing “plant pick-ups”. It is good to know that flowers and veggie plants will be available to keep us busy in the yard while providing beauty and food for our families.
Thanks for a list of restaurants providing take-out. I see that pizza deliveries are up, but it is good to know where else to look for a change in menus! I saw the Lucky Dragon was open for take-out the other day. Please add them to your list. We will be ordering from them today and want to support our local businesses as much as we can!
Thanks to the workers at IGA, FedEx, the post office, police department, water department, street department, rubbish pick-up, food growers, newspaper reporters and publishers and delivery, truck drivers, EMS, all medical personnel and fire department for staying on the job while doing their best to stay well. What would we do without these courageous people?
Thanks to everyone who is staying home, working from home, keeping their children learning at home via teacher/parent creativity, and practicing the social distancing needed to slow the spread of the virus. All of this helps give the medical profession time to get the equipment and personal protective gear they need to combat it.
Everyone is doing their part. We will get through this together!
