Ravenna – Portage County Beekeepers will hold their regular meeting on Thursday, September 20, from 7:00 pm until 9:00 pm at Maplewood Career Center, 7075 State Route 88, Ravenna, Ohio 44266.
Back by popular demand, Dr. Matthew Lehnert, Biology Professor at Kent State University, will speak on how to avoid having pests in the bee yard and how to get rid of them.
The Club will also hold its fall field day on Sunday, September 23, from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm. We will hold a pot luck supper, do a fall hive inspection and enjoy a presentation. Free and open to the public. For further information, please contact Mary Lovin at 330-325-3028.
