The Windham School District was recognized by Ohio Edison for being a Certified Energy Efficient customer. Ohio Edison recognizes those who are committed to energy efficiency and peak demand reduction projects. All lights were replaced in both the elementary and Junior/Senior High last year to create more energy efficient buildings. Because of this, Ohio Edison presented the district with a rebate check for $27,538.
