Summerfest #12 will begin on Friday night with the opening ceremonies taking place on the Charles Auto Family Main Stage at 6:30 p.m.

Rides Return To  Downtown!!

Thanks to the generosity of Buckeye Block owner Mike Maschek, the carnival rides will make their return to downtown to the heart of Summerfest! Take advantage of the ride all day wristbands which will be available  on Saturday and Sunday.  Cost is $15 and allow you to ride the entire day!!

Friday Night Is Family Movie Night!!

Bring your lawn chairs or a blanket. Grab that cotton candy, popcorn or funnel cake and make your way to the west stage for a special showing of Zootopia, presented by the Garrettsville-Hiram Rotary Club!

Car or Cash?  You Decide!!

Don’t forget to purchase your Car or Cash Raffle Tickets for a chance to win either $20,000 cash or a 2016 Chevy Colorado.  Tickets are available in the center of town at Chamber Information Booth.  Cost is $20 each or 6/$100.  Drawing will be held on Sunday night following the Garrettsville Idol Finals.   You don’t have to be present to win!

Summerfest Picnic Pavillion

Thank you to the DelTorto family for providing space for our new picnic area.  Seating has been made available for approximately 45 people.  What a great way to take a break and enjoy your delicious treats.

Steeplechase Canoe Race Time Change

NOTE — the Steeplechase Canoe Race will begin at NOON on SATURDAY instead of 9 am.

Tractors, Tractors, and MORE Tractors

Ohio’s Largest Tractor parade will take place at noon on Saturday.  Tractors line up at the JA Garfield school campus and can best be seen along SR 88.

Pirate Princess Show

Your kids will love meeting Disney princesses and their pirate friend on Saturday at 3:30.  Come see the show and stay for autographs!!

Fireworks

Fireworks are best seen from the Main Street Bridge and the Sky Plaza parking lot.  Fireworks are scheduled for Saturday night at 10 p.m. Remember, Village Park is closed for firework set-up and launching.

YMCA Showcase With Special Guest Josh Cribbs

Former Cleveland Brown, Josh Cribbs will be present on Sunday during the Summerfest Grand Parade and at the Garrettsville YMCA’s Showcase on the Main stage at 2 pm.  Josh Cribbs is a 10-year veteran, three-time Pro Bowl wide receiver and returner for the NFL, playing eight seasons with the Cleveland Browns before finishing his playing career with the Indianapolis Colts.  Stop out and meet Josh and see what the Garrettsville Y has to offer!

Grand Parade Reminder

For safety reasons many of the EMS and Fire Trucks line up on Zupancic Drive for the parade.  If you are a fan, your best viewing will be closer to town.

Where Can I Park?

Parking at Garrettsville Summerfest is available at Garfield Plaza,Sky Plaza and the JA Garfield School Campus. Shuttle service will be provided  from Sky Plaza and the school campus to a pickup/dropoff point located near the Windham Street bridge on Saturday from 4 – 11 pm.  The shuttle service will run in 20 minute intervals.

Please NO Pets

For your safety, the safety of  your pet and those around you, please leave all pets at home. With the exception of documented service animals, pets are not permitted at Garrettsville Summerfest.
