Burton Health Care Center cares for long-term residents, and patients needing short-term rehabilitation for orthopedic procedures such as hip/knee replacements and fractures, as well as complex post hospital patients.  A wing in the nursing facility has been dedicated solely for patients needing transitional care.  “Our goal is to return patients to their normal living environment as soon as possible and to their safest level.  It is imperative to have highly trained and committed health care providers such as Dr. Neely, D.O. and Susanne Bond N.P. who are willing to provide care on site to skilled nursing patients”, says Erin Kostos, Administrator, for Burton Health Care Center.   Angel Mehalic, RN, and Director of Nursing says “We are very excited that Dr. Neely has joined our team as one of our physicians at Burton Health Care Center.  Dr. Neely is very dedicated to providing the utmost care for his patients.  His thoroughness and outstanding bedside manner are just a few reasons why all his patients, and their families, highly regard him as their doctor.”  Dr. Neely, D.O. also feels it is important to continue to treat his patients, while here at Burton Health Care Center, as soon as they leave the hospital.

When not treating patients, Dr. Neely, a Geauga county resident, enjoys spending time with his family, fishing, and playing guitar in a band with his friends from high school.

The physician involvement is critical in delivering the high quality care received at Burton Health Care Center.  Burton Health Care Center is privileged to have Dr. Neely and Susanne Bond, N.P. as members of its medical staff.
