Ravenna – Ravenna Creates… Art on Main! is scheduled for Saturday, August 7, 2021 from 11am-7pm on Main Street in beautiful, historic downtown Ravenna!
Typically held in June every year, Art on Main was rescheduled this year due to the pandemic.
“We didn’t want to wait another year to bring people downtown to enjoy art, wine and fun” said Brian Hare, AOM Committee Chair. Downtown will be buzzing as artists from all over NE Ohio and Western Pennsylvania show off their creations! Food trucks, entertainment, a community art project and more are planned for this family friendly event.
New this year will be extended hours, and the introduction of a third stage on the Courthouse Steps with a final act between 5 and 7pm! Vendors will be located down the middle of Main Street this year as well. There will be craft beer available for purchase from MadCap and North Water Street Brewing in Kent in addition to the local wines from West Main Street Winery, McAlpine Meadery and Old Peck Wines in Ravenna. We will have a variety of food trucks but of course, downtown merchants and restaurants will be open for business too. Raffle tickets will be sold at the Main Street Ravenna booth for a Virtual Reverse Raffle drawing on August 30 at 6pm via Zoom (Tickets are $50 each, grand prize is $1500)!
Main Street Ravenna is still accepting artists, sponsorships and is in need of volunteers to help out with the event and space is filling up fast.
