The Book Discussion Club of the Garrettsville branch of the Portage County District Library will meet on Tuesday February 20, 2018, in the library meeting room from 5-6 p.m.

The month’s selection is Can’t Wait to Get to Heaven a novel by Fannie Flagg.

An octogenarian named Elner Shimfissle, a fig tree, a ladder, and a wasps’ nest – what could possibly go wrong? In Flagg’s comedy-mystery the delightful characters in the small town of Elmwood Springs, Missouri reveal to the reader the effect a person has on others while they each contemplate the age-old question, “Why are we here?’’
Patrons may sign up for the Book Discussion Club at the Reference desk, where copies of the book are available.
