Interested in joining a community of readers and exploring new genres? The Windham Library is pleased to announce the launch of a brand-new monthly in-person adult book discussion group. Join us from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm on the last Tuesday of each month for a lively chat about both fiction and non-fiction titles.
On September 27, the group will discuss How to Stop Time by Matt Haig (a love story across the ages); October 25 it will be Elevation by Stephen King (an eerie yet moving story about a man whose mysterious affliction brings a small town together); and November 29 the group will read Wintering by Katherine May (a perspective-shifting memoir which aims to teach us to draw from the healing powers of the natural world and to embrace the winters of our own lives).
This group will meet in the Adult/Young Adult activity area of the main reading room. Copies of each book can be ordered in advance and checked out directly from the Windham circulation or refence desks. Call 330-326-3145 with any questions (ask for Sarah).
