New session of Tae Kwon Do will be held from Sept.4 to 27 at WILLYARD SCHOOL in Ravenna for ages 7 years to adults, male or female. Tae Kwon Do emphasizes self-discipline, exercise, and martial art skills. The 34th Annual Potato Stomp 9 mile race will take place on September 8th. The Potato Stomp is a classic road race through the scenic streets of Mantua Village and the beautiful Cuyahoga Valley. There is a one-mile Fun Run that begins at 8:30am and the 9-mile race begins at 9am. Fun Run registration on race day is $8 with no shirt/$15 including shirt.
