Little monster truck fans—bring your favorite toy truck and put it to the test on our epic tracks and obstacle course! Enjoy monster truck-themed crafts, games, and take a turn bouncing in our giant monster truck bounce house. Event is free and no registration is required. Saturday, October 18 11am to 12:30pm at Reed Memorial Library in Ravenna.
BONUS: Bring one monster truck toy to leave for our very first Monster Truck Show! Your truck will be on display in the library’s children’s department from Oct 18-25, and then it will be returned to you.
Roast Pork Dinner

Sit down dinners are being served, as well as carry-out and drive thru. Dinners are $15.00 and this month includes roast pork and sauerkraut (cooked separately), mashed potatoes and gravy, salad, cole slaw, applesauce, green beans, corn, roll and dessert. From Hiram Hill to City Hall

The Friends of the Hiram College Library are proud to present “From Hiram Hill to City Hall: How Hiram College Shaped My Journey to Mayor,” with guest speaker Rocco Yeargin. Yeargin is a 1993 graduate of Hiram College and the current mayor of Green, Ohio. A Hiram graduate, lawyer, and longtime public servant, Rocco Yeargin served six years on Green City Council before being elected the city’s seventh mayor in 2024. Yeargin will share how his Hiram education prepared him for a career in law, politics, and leadership—and the lessons he’s learned along the way. Yeargin’s talk will be hosted in the Pritchard Room of the Hiram College Library on Monday, October 21 at 7 p.m. The Hiram College Library is located at 11694 Hayden St., Hiram, OH 44234. This event is free and open to the public.

Local historian, Wayne Enders, will share information and photos of UFO sightings in Northeast Ohio. Whether or not you’re a true believer, the records do exist and you can decide for yourself. All ages can join us Saturday, October 25th at 2pm for the slideshow and talk.
