Farmington Senior Center Breakfasts

The Senior Center is open for breakfast Mondays from 7a-Noon. A full menu is offered from scrambled eggs to Belgian waffles. A free meal is open to all residents in Mantua, Garrettsville, Hiram, and surrounding areas. Anyone who needs to stretch their food dollars, or enjoys a homemade meal, is invited. The meal is from 5-6:30pm, the last Thursday of the month, January through October, at Mantua Center Christian Church, 4118 State Route 82 in Mantua Township. We hope to see you there for good food and conversation.

Christ Lutheran Church is sponsoring the Mantua Variety Market on Saturdays from 9am – 1pm at 10827 N Main St., Mantua. Season runs from May 17 – August 23 (closed July 5). A wide selection of items can be sold – bakery, produce, crafts, plants, syrup, eggs, honey, garage sale items, etc. Vendors are needed. Fee is $1 per date. A basket raffle will be held on Aug 2 at the Claridon Town Hall from 12-4 with the drawing at 4:30. This event is being run by Girl Scouts to support their troop activities.
