The Senior Center is open for breakfast Mondays from 7a-Noon. A full menu is offered from scrambled eggs to Belgian waffles. Children ages 2-5 (adults stay for fun, siblings welcome) are invited to Time for Tots on the 2nd & 4th Wednesdays of each month from 9:30 – 11:00 a.m. Our goal is to provide a safe indoor environment for young children to play, craft, enjoy music & burn energy. Time for Tots will run from 9/11/24 – 5/28/25. We will not meet if Ravenna Schools are closed. No need to sign up for this free event, just stop in and enjoy the fun. A free meal is open to all residents in Mantua, Garrettsville, Hiram, and surrounding areas. Anyone who needs to stretch their food dollars, or enjoys a homemade meal, is invited. The meal is from 5-6:30pm, the last Thursday of the month, January through October, at Mantua Center Christian Church, 4118 State Route 82 in Mantua Township. Free Chili Cook-Off Event

We are located north of Route 305 – at 12888 State Route 88 Garrettsville.Enter the contest with your best chili for $5! The judging will be by the public and cash prizes will be awarded for our winners! The public can come for FREE to be the “taster judges” and choose their favorite chili! A silent auction will be available too for you to purchase tickets for the chance to win a baskets of all themes & ideas! Harvest Dinner

The North Bloomfield Historical Society will hold its annual Harvest Dinner on Wednesday, October 16 at 6:00pm in the historic town hall on the square. Ham and fried chicken will be provided along with plates and utensils. Admission is free with a donation of a salad, vegetable or dessert.
