As kitten season approaches, shelters brace for an influx of feline mothers and their offspring, adding to the 3.2 million cats that enter shelters annually, as per ASPCA and The Humane Society data. For nearly five decades, Valley Save-a-Pet (VSAP) has been a beacon of support, offering low-cost spay/neuter services through initiatives like the 2024 VSAP Have-a-Heart program. Applications are currently open, providing an opportunity for pet owners to secure certificates for their companion animals.
To apply or inquire about the program, call 440-232-PETS (2287) during designated hours, and speak with a dedicated HAH volunteer.
