Burton – Veterans helping Veterans. Stuff our vehicles on Memorial Day, May 27 either uptown in Burton or at the open house at the American Legion Atwood Mauck Post 459, following the Memorial Day service at 11 am. Items will be for our Veterans in hospitals, nursing homes. Veterans’ Wish list includes:
Razors (twin or triple blade), shaving cream, after shave, toothbrushes, mouthwash, body lotion, baby powder, deodorant, shampoo, combs, brushes, soap (hospitals request large bars for men), soap travel & hotel size, covered soap dishes, white socks, white undershirts (sizes med, large, XL, 1x & 2x), underwear (same sizes), word searches, sudoko, crossword, books, magazines, hard candy, tootsie rolls, chocolate bars, sugar free candy (hard & chocolate), Gum- regular & sugar free.
