Vendor Spaces Available at “Tree-Mendous” Flea Market

Turn your trash into someone else’s treasure and put a little cash in your own pocket. Booth spaces are still available at the Annual “Treasure Among the Trees” Flea Market. Outdoor spaces, the size of two parking spaces, can be reserved for $25.00 or an 8-foot picnic table under the shelter for $15.00. Geauga People for Parks is hosting the Annual “Treasures Among the Trees” FLEA MARKET at The West Woods picnic area, 9465 Kinsman Road, Russell Township on Saturday, July 13, 2013, 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Dozens of vendors will be selling their treasures, such as antiques, collectibles, bird houses, jewelry (new and old), tools, toys, furniture, rugs, plants, handmade materials &, soaps, general household- bargains galore, and much more. Food will also be available for sale. Geauga People for Parks will host a booth, selling a great variety of donated items including art work and household items.

All proceeds from the flea market vendor space rental and the Volunteer booth will go to support Geauga People for Parks, a volunteer political action group that supports Geauga Park District.

The mission of Geauga Park District is to “preserve, conserve and protect the natural features of Geauga County, and to provide the opportunity for people to enjoy and appreciate those resources.” Your park district is currently protecting over 9,500 acres of land in Geauga County, which includes 19 open parks and other preserves; two nature centers with natural history and nature art exhibits; the new Observatory Park observatory and science center; more than 50 miles of trails allowing access for a variety of activities; ponds for fishing; picnic shelters and more.
