Garrettsville – On Tuesday, July 13 from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm you are invited to attend a virtual Zoom webinar with Jennifer Bowen, Financial Advisor. Bowen will explain the basic steps of planning an estate and the importance of wills and trusts. Amy R. Turos, an estate planning attorney, will also be present during this event.
The Book Discussion Club of the Garrettsville Library will meet both via Zoom and in-person (outdoors) on Tuesday, July 20 from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Registration is required to attend this group meeting. July’s selected title is Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet by Jamie Ford. It is a tale of cultural differences during the evacuation and internment of people of Japanese descent. Dual timelines tell Henry’s story as memories of the 1940s mix with Henry’s life in the 1980s. Copies of the book are available at the reference desk.
