Mantua – Saturday, April 1st Crestwood High School is hosting breakfast and an egg hunt with the Easter Bunny. Breakfast and photos with the Easter Bunny take place from 9 – 10 am at Crestwood Intermediate School. Egg hunts will take place by age group, with children three and under hunting at 10 am, four and five-year-olds hunting at 10:15, and kids aged six and up hunting at 10:20. Tickets are $12 for adults and $7 for children, with those three and under admitted at no cost. The event is being hosted by the CHS Junior class and CHS Student Council. Later that evening, the Downtown Mantua Revitalization Corporation (DMRC) will host its spring fundraiser. The Harlequin-themed reverse raffle takes place at Hughes Hall at St. Joseph’s parish. Tickets are $120 per couple. For more information, visit RevitalizeMantua.org.
If you’re spring cleaning and come across any gently-worn kids’ athletic equipment, shoes, cleats, as well as gently-used spirit wear, the Crestwood Boosters would be happy to take them. Donations can be dropped throughout the month of April at any school building or the Board office (10880 John Edwards Drive). The donations will be made available at the Boosters’ Spring Cleanout Sports Gear fundraiser on May 13th from 10 am until noon.
On Wednesday, April 12th, the district is hosting a Health, Wellness & Safety Fair at Crestwood Intermediate School from 4 – 6 pm. The event will include representatives from University Hospitals Portage as well as Townhall II, Mantua Police, MSFD, and the Ohio Department of Education. Students, staff, and the community are invited to attend.
The Mantua Restoration Society will host dinner on Friday, April 14th. The group holds these events on the second Friday of each month at the Mantua Center School from 4 until 7pm. Each event features a variety of homemade soups and entrees, as well as fresh salads and delicious desserts. All are welcome; donations support the Mantua Restoration Society. Ample space is available for dine in and carry-out is also available. The Mantua Center School Annex is located at 11741 Mantua Center Road in Mantua Township.
Lastly, the Crestwood All Sports Boosters will host their Spring Reverse Raffle fundraiser on Saturday, April 29th starting at 6 pm.
