The Senior Center is open for breakfast Mondays from 7a-Noon. A full menu is offered from scrambled eggs to Belgian waffles. Parkman 55+ Seniors
First Thursday of Month
Please join area seniors over 55 for a monthly gathering on the first Thursday at the Parkman Community Center at 11:30 am. With the exception of an occasional field trip, the gathering includes a pot luck lunch and socializing and various programs such as entertainment, informational lectures and Bingo. Anyone who needs to stretch their food dollars, or enjoys a homemade meal, is cordially invited to come eat and enjoy some fellowship. The meal is from 5 – 6:30pm, the Last Thursday of each month January through October at Mantua Center Christian Church, 4118 State Route 82 in Mantua Township.

Windham United Methodist Church is serving their free monthly meal on June 30, 2023. Meal pick up is from 4 to 5 at The Windham United Methodist Church, located at 9051 N. Main Street, Windham. Oh 44288. The meal consists of hot dogs and macaroni salad. There is no charge for the meal but you must order your meal ahead of time. Contact Sandi Fordyce at 330-697-3288.

Adults $12 Children 4-9 years old $6 Carry out available.
Car & Craft Show

Christmas in July Car Show/Craft/Vendor Show on Saturday, July 8, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Freedom Town Hall/Pavilion located at 8966 St. Rt. 700, Ravenna. There will be a variety of crafters/vendors and cars for everyone. Vendors will be accepted until July 7, 2023. Cars will be accepted as pre-registered or on the day of the event ($5.00 per car). There will be a 50/50 raffle, raffle baskets and food. Something for everyone so bring the whole family. Summer Wars at Life Church will be held every Monday July 10 thru Aug 14 from 6pm – 8pm at Life Church, 10280 SR 88, Garrettsville, OH 44231

Join us each Monday night for 6 weeks for fun, fellowship, friendly competition and faith. Hot dogs, snacks and beverages will be provided. Everyone will get a Summer Wars Team t-shirt to keep.

Shalersville Alumni will hold an ice cream social on Sunday, July 16 at 2 PM at the Town Hall. This event will also include a meeting plus lots of opportunity for socializing and “catching up”.
