Overeaters Anonymous (a community of people who support each other in order to recover from compulsive eating and food behaviors) meets in person every Monday, except legal holidays, at 10:00AM in the parlor of the First Presbyterian Church of Warren, 256 Mahoning Av NW, Warren, OH 44483. Farmington Senior Center Breakfasts

The Senior Center is open for breakfast Mondays from 7a-Noon. A full menu is offered from scrambled eggs to Belgian waffles. Parkman 55+ Seniors
First Thursday of Month
Please join area seniors over 55 for a monthly gathering on the first Thursday at the Parkman Community Center at 11:30 am. With the exception of an occasional field trip, the gathering includes a pot luck lunch and socializing and various programs such as entertainment, informational lectures and Bingo. Hiram Community Band Is Rebuilding!

Hiram Community Band is rebuilding! Anyone who can play a band instrument and read music is welcome, though we’re in particular need of lower instruments. Rehearsals are Monday June 5, Wednesday, June 14, and Thursday June 29, from 7-9 PM, in Frohring Hall on the Hiram College campus, with our concert at “4 on the 4th” of July. Mark your calendars for Tuesday, June 13 at 7 PM for Susan Cannavino’s power point presentation on the Adventures of President Dwight Eisenhower: his life is one of duty, sacrifice, ambition and yes, passion. We will begin with Ike’s childhood. As a bonus you will enjoy some hilarious stories of Mamie in The White House. This special event, sponsored by the Freedom, Mantua, & Shalersville Historical Societies, will begin at 7 PM at the Shalersville Town Hall which is completely handicap accessible. The program is free and open to the public. All veterans are encouraged to attend to learn about General Eisenhower.

Mental Health First Aid Training

On Saturday, June 24, 2023, from 9am-4pm, Celebration Lutheran Church in Chardon will host a Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) training, led by Mental Health First Aid Ohio. MHFA teaches how to identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental illness and substance use disorders. This training gives participants the skills they need to reach out and provide initial support to someone who may be developing a mental health or substance use problem, and help connect them to the appropriate care. Car & Craft Show

Christmas in July Car Show/Craft/Vendor Show on Saturday, July 8, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Freedom Town Hall/Pavilion located at 8966 St. Rt. 700, Ravenna. There will be a variety of crafters/vendors and cars for everyone. Vendors will be accepted until July 7, 2023. Cars will be accepted as pre-registered or on the day of the event ($5.00 per car). There will be a 50/50 raffle, raffle baskets and food. Something for everyone so bring the whole family.
