Second Blessings Thrift Shop
Our furniture room is now stocked full of new donations of used furniture, lamps and occasionally antiques. From our two overflow rooms shoppers can fill one of our shopping carts for only $20.00. In the Second Blessings Thrift Shoppe we have many new household items and many items in like new condition, all reasonably priced. Parkman 55+ Seniors
First Thursday of Month
Please join area seniors over 55 for a monthly gathering on the first Thursday at the Parkman Community Center at 11:30 am. With the exception of an occasional field trip, the gathering includes a pot luck lunch and socializing and various programs such as entertainment, informational lectures and Bingo. Loaves and Fishes Community Meal

Free meal open to all residents in Mantua, Hiram, Garrettsville and surrounding areas. Anyone who needs to stretch their food dollars or even if you just love a homemade meal. You are cordially invited to come eat and enjoy some fellowship. This meal is from 5-6:30 pm, the LAST Thursday of each month at Mantua Center Christian Church. 4118 S.R.82. Mantua Farmers Market
July 9
The Mantua Farmers will return on Saturday, July 9, 9 am to 1 pm, and will run each Saturday until September 24. Christ Lutheran Church sponsors the Market at 10827 N Main St., Mantua. Vendors will be in the church’s upper parking lot due to work on their lower lot. In addition to traditional market products, vendors are welcome to sell other items such as crafts and garage sale treasures. Cost is $5.00 per date. Fees will be used for church building projects. Friendly Squares July Square Dance

The Friendly Squares will host their monthly square dance, Saturday, July 9th, from 7:30 to 10:00 p.m. at the Niles SCOPE Center, 14 E. State St., Niles, Ohio. Gene Hammond will be the caller and Frankie Hammond will be cuing line dances. This will be a Plus dance. Dress is casual and Hot Dogs will be served. Mail Pouch Barn Program

The Freedom Township Historical Society will host a Mail Pouch barns program on 7 pm Tuesday, July 12, at the Freedom Township Picnic Pavilion located at 8966 S.R. 700 (right across from the town hall). Barn historian Judy Thornton will be sharing her vast knowledge of the history of these iconic structures, which dotted the American landscape in the mid-20th century.. Food Truck Party VBS

“Food Truck Party” Vacation Bible School will be held at Wayland Community Church, 6355 Wayland Road, (Paris Twp.) from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., July 18 – 22. Food Truck Party VBS invites children to pray as Jesus teaches us in Matthew 6:11 “Give us this day our daily bread”. All children age 3 through those who have finished grade 6 are welcome.
