Ravenna – Each year, United Way of Portage County (UWPC) hosts a workplace campaign to collect donations from those working and living in our community, so we can provide funding to over 40 programs and services. Our 2020-2021 Campaign Kickoff event – Unite at the Drive-In – will be held on September 24, 2020 at Midway Drive-In in Ravenna! The event will feature stories of community impact, stories of the COVID-19 impact, snacks, and a movie showing!
Join us between 7pm and 11pm on Thursday, September 24th for a socially distant event. UWPC will show a short video of their accomplishments over the past year and how you can help support your neighbors in Portage County. The event tickets are available at www.uwportage.org for $10 donation per car. The event is open to the public and family-friendly. Attendees will enjoy snacks prepared by culinary staff at The New Center, raffle baskets, 50/50 and your choice of a movie between “The Goonies” and “Major League”. Raffle baskets will include:

- Tito’s Vodka and White Claw Basket
- Titleist Hats and Golf Balls

United Way of Portage County (UWPC) partners with over 40 programs to provide services to families and individuals throughout Portage County. We fight for the health, education, and financial stability of every person in our community. United Way helps to ensure children are successful in school, that families have enough food to eat, and that every person has access to health care. We are local, serving our community to improve the lives of our neighbors. We need your help to continue to provide these much-needed services.
