The ladies of the Twentieth Century Club of Garrettsville met outdoors on September 16, 2021 at the home of program chairperson Jane Hill. Roll call was taken–responding to the the query, “Besides lemonade, what do you do with lemons?”, the secretary’s and treasurer’s reports were heard and the 2021-2022 program booklets were distributed.

These had been compiled and organized by the calendar committee, consisting of Jane Hill, Connie Crate, Kathy Countryman and president Nasreen Kitko. The covers were designed by member Maureen See, printed and stapled by The Villager Printing.

Old business included thanks to all who maintained the club connections through the “recent unpleasantness” of the pandemic. New business included the introduction of names for new membership, all approved unanimously. These individuals will be notified in writing by the secretary. Possible calendar changes and suggestions from the last meeting were given to the secretary for discussion at the next meeting, which will be on October 7, 2021 at the Covenant Bible Fellowship rather than the listed location.

The meeting concluded with the required reading (once yearly) of the constitution, by-laws and policy page by a membership round-robin reading.

Dues are being accepted.

Karen Miller made the motion for adjournment, it was seconded by Karen Ziarko. The group retired to be treated to scrumptious pastry and fruit, indoors.

It’s all good.
