Townhall II Integrated Health Network is announcing that it’s Medicine-Assisted Treatment (MAT) Clinic in Ravenna is now booking appointments. The clinic is located at 512 N. Chestnut St., Ravenna, OH 44266.
Townhall II’s MAT Clinic is part of the agency’s holistic approach to health, wellness and recovery. MAT is the use of medications, combined with counseling and the support of family and friends, to help people sustain recovery. These medications help reduce cravings, effects of alcohol and other drugs, and reduce the risk of relapse.
Both Townhall II MAT Clinics offer daily, weekly and monthly treatment options with medications for opioid use disorder (MOUD) and alcoholism for eligible patients. The clinic utilizes naltrexone, buprenorphine, naloxone and other pharmaceuticals as necessary. It also provides nicotine patches.
“With Kent being on the edge of the county, we know that it is not easy for everyone to get to,” says Tamera Hunter, CEO of Townhall II Integrated Health Network. “Opening the clinic in Ravenna allows easier access for many of people who need our services. This is another step we are making to duplicate the services we offer in Kent at our Ravenna office. We started offering counseling services in Ravenna many months ago and it has been very favorably received. We hope for a similar reaction with the clinic.”
To make an appointment at either MAT Clinic, call 330-678-3006. Anyone in an immediate medical emergency should always call 911. Those with a mental health crisis should call 988 or 330-678-HELP (4357).
