“Thank You” From The Newton Falls Community Backpack Program

2050

With the help and support of Newton Falls Schools, the NF Community Backpack Program has packed and distributed weekend bags of food to area children during the weeks that the schools were open during first semester. We appreciate the support of Supt. Rocco Adduci, Maintenance Supervisor Jo Seidner, and the employees of Newton Falls Exempted Village Schools. We would like to thank all area donors and, specifically, the following contributors to our program.

For permitting donor boxes for food, we again thank Healthy Treasures, Associated School Employees Credit Union (ASECU), and Newton Falls United Methodist Church.

For contributing food, we thank resident Sharon Cooke, and the donors who took cases of food to NF Elementary/Middle School.
For their help in packing bags first semester, we thank NF Kiwanis Club member Bob Wujcik, Rev. Steve Spurlock, the First Baptist Church volunteers, and NFHS National Honor Society.

For financial support, we thank NF Kiwanis Club, the Ladies Guild of Sts. Mary and Joseph Church, Janet Lewis, Don & Carol Baker, Linda Laughlin, Sharon Cooke, and any anonymous donors who contributed at ASECU.

We appreciate Mr. Clark at Newton Falls IGA and Mrs. Spicko at NF Shop ‘n Save for donating the bags we use every week instead of actual backpacks. It is a more sanitary way to distribute food, and we thank you.

Thank you to all of our community for your continuing help, support, and prayers for this worthwhile program.
