Day camp registration opening soon for youth entering grades 3 through 10
Attention, young people craving outdoor adventure, or in dire need of some: Geauga Park District is gearing up to host our 13th annual week-long summer day camps, and we want YOU to explore with us! (Parents: don’t delay to get your young person signed up for outdoor fun with peers this summer!)
Opportunities for hands-on fun in Nature are available for youth entering grade 3 and 4 the weeks of July 7 and August 4; youth entering grades 5 through 7 the weeks of June 2, 9 and 23, July 21 and 28; and teens entering grades 8 through 10 the weeks of June 16 and July 14.
Activities campers love include biking, fishing, kayaking, archery and stream exploration. All camps are held weekdays 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in various parks depending on each week’s specific age groups and activities.
For the whole week, camp fees are $150 for Geauga County residents and $175 for out-of-county residents. Registration opens March 20 at 10 a.m. for Geauga residents, then March 27 for others, at www.geaugaparkdistrict.org or 440-286-9516. For more information, please visit bit.ly/gpdcamps2025.
