Streetsboro – The Streetsboro Quilt Guild is preparing for its annual judged quilt show. It will be held at the Faith Baptist Church in Streetsboro on Friday September 30th and Saturday October 1st. The public is invited to enter quilts, wearable quilted items or quilted art pieces in the show. Although it is a judged show, entrants can choose to display quilts, without having them judged. The entry fee is $6.00. Entry forms must be received no later than September 17th. This year we will accept 100 entrees. See streetsboroquiltguild.com for the entry form and other details. The show is a popular event among quilters and quilt lovers. Guests are inspired by wonderful quilts, and enjoy shopping at the vendor mall for quilt fabrics, patterns, and needlework items. Guests also can shop at the Country Cupboard, where items made by quilt members are for sale.
