Stirring Up Success: Pasta House Thrives in Garrettsville

Garrettsville – After four months of outstanding support from the community, Garrettsville’s latest culinary destination—The Pasta House—is serving up extended hours and a bevy of exciting new entrees this spring.

Following months of dividing their time between their Italian Garden franchise, and The Pasta House, mother and son team Sherry and Jeremy Quiggle announced over the weekend that they would now be focusing their efforts exclusively on the success of The Pasta House. With Jeremy joining his mother in the kitchen, one of the first changes patrons can anticipate are expanded hours of operation. Beginning May 13th, The Pasta House will be open for the lunch crowd Wednesdays–Mondays (closed Tuesdays).

With these expanded hours of operation, diners can look forward to new menu offerings, with many focusing on fresh summer vegetables such as artichokes and asparagus. Also included in the new lineup will be a variety of salads, cacciatores, gluten-free, sugar-free, and vegan options.

In addition to her great lineup of menu items at The Pasta House, Sherry takes great pride in working one-on-one with her catering clients. Specializing in “budget-friendly” catering, Sherry’s knowledge and experience allow her to create meals as unique as her clients.

What won’t change is Sherry’s commitment to “thinking local”.  Since opening in January, The Pasta House has been donating individually portioned leftovers to the Nelson Garrettsville Community Cupboard for distribution to families in need.  Sherry has also made shopping with local merchants a priority. With two grocery stores and a ton of great specialty shops “there is little reason to shop outside [the village]”.

Anyone with doubts about the authenticity of Sherry’s statement need only note the eclectic assortment of items from Chic & Shabby, and One Real Peach gracing the restaurant walls—with some items available for purchase. In addition to shopping locally, visitors to both specialty shops should be on the lookout for special “Shop Local” coupons valid for a discount at the Pasta House,  encouraging locals and  visitors alike to “make a day of it” and enjoy lunch or dinner in town, after a day of shopping.
