Spotlight On: Book Box Program

900

Garrettsville – Portage County District Library would like to help educators prepare for the upcoming school year by placing its September service spotlight on its Book Box program. Book Boxes are ideal for classroom teachers or other educators who need multiple copies of the same title. Each Book Box contains 30 books of a title and most contain a copy of the unabridged audiobook, if available. They can be checked out for 2 or 4 weeks. Call the Garrettsville Library at 1-800-500-6504 to reserve a Book Box or to get more information about this program. The Book Boxes must be picked up at a Portage County District Library branch location. To view a complete listing of available Book Box titles, visit www.portagelibrary.org. Select “About the Library” and then select “Library Services”.

You can use your personal or teacher card to check out Book Boxes. Teacher cards are fine free and allow for extended loan periods on classroom materials. Don’t have a teacher card yet? Sign up for a teacher card using a personal library card and proof of employment.

Visit Portage County District Library online at www.portagelibrary.org for information about other library programs and services.
