Spaghetti Dinner Benefit Planned for Cairo Svonavec

2271

Cairo Svonavec, a freshman at James A. Garfield High School, was recently diagnosed with a very rare and aggressive form of gastric cancer called gastric adenocarcinoma. Her family is holding a fundraiser dinner to help her receive the best comprehensive care possible.

The dinner will be held on October 28th from 1pm-6pm at the Windham Community Center, located at 9647 E. Center Street, in Windham. Tickets are $12 for adults and $10 for children. The meal will include spaghetti, a roll, and a side salad.

There will also be a Chinese auction and a 50/50 raffle, with multiple chances to win great prizes.

To make donations for the auction, please contact Chris Collins at 234-600-4978. For general questions about the event, please contact Jonathan Neer at 330-697-1393.

Cairo is a kind and loving young woman with a huge heart. She embraces life to the fullest and has no limits when it comes to loving other people, her family, and especially animals. Her family and friends are determined to help her overcome this challenge, and they are grateful for the support of the community.
