Garrettsville – SkyLane Bowling Alley is proud to announce that youth bowling coach Carl(Rick) Ewell has been named the Ohio Youth Bowling Coach of the Year by the Ohio State USBC Youth Association.
Rick is pictured here with one of his prize students Lauren Sanchez of Garrettsville. Lauren recently competed in the Regional Tournament in Kentucky (28th place) and the Ohio State Tournament in Columbus (23rd) where she competed against hundreds of bowlers in the 11 & under age division.
Mr. Ewell has been coaching kids for years in the Saturday Morning leagues and will be an instructor at next week’s Youth Bowling Camp (Aug. 12-14th) at SkyLanes. Call 330-527-9999 for more information.
