Auburn – After 34 years of civil service, Craig Sirna retired from the Bedford Heights Police force to spend   his days with his wife, Ann and daughter Kristen in the operation of their family farm.  In honor of Craig, a retirement party was held at Sirna’s Farm and Market.  A guest list of 350 people consisting of family, friends and neighbors, were given one request by Sirna.  In lieu of gifts, he requested all monetary donations be made to WomenSafe.

As a police officer, Craig Sirna witnessed first-hand the devastation and traumatic impact domestic violence has on families.   He wanted to give back to a group that was deserving and appreciative of his selfless act of kindness.   Craig Sirna proudly presented WomenSafe with a check in the amount of $1,020.   All proceeds support the mission of WomenSafe which is to provide emergency shelter and resources to victims of domestic violence throughout Northeast Ohio.

Craig Sirna is also a board member of the Geauga County Farm Bureau and Geauga County Tourism.

Sirna’s Farm and Market is located at 19009 Ravenna Road in Auburn, Ohio.
