On July 24, The Silver Creek Garden Club of Garrettsville toured Lakeview Cemetery in Cleveland. The cemetery is the final resting place of James A. Garfield, Elliot Ness, and John D. Rockefeller to name only a few. The guided tour focused on the large diversity of trees and the history of the cemetery. Lunch was enjoyed by all at the nearby Washington Place Restaurant’s outdoor cafe.
The next meeting will be August 28 at the West Side Market in Cleveland. Lunch will follow at a local restaurant. New Members are always welcome. If you wish to carpool, meet at the Garrettsville Cinema parking lot at 9:30.
