Santa Pub Crawl Returns to Garrettsville

1728

Get your craziest, most obnoxious Christmas outfit together, gather up a few fun loving friends and get yourselves registered for the Fourth Annual Santa Pub Crawl on December 8, 2018. One can reserve a spot by calling 330 524-2646 or you can register between 2:00pm and 3:00pm at Sky Lounge on the day of the crawl.

The Santa Pub Crawl will begin at the Sky Lounge at 3:00pm. The cost for the Crawl is $25 per person, with all the proceeds going to Garrettsville Summerfest. This is an adult event — no children will be permitted to attend.

The Santa Pub Crawl is a fundraiser for Garrettsville Summerfest and is a fun way to kick-off the Christmas season. The pub crawl is a walking poker run with six local stops — some of the locations will even have a specialty drink for the event.

Here is how it works — participants walk to the establishments, draw one card which the attendant will mark on their sheet. Before moving onto the next stop, you may have the opportunity to have a drink or two. The goal is to create the best five- card poker hand.

Once you have visited all six stops and have your sheet marked, you will discard one of the “cards” to create the best five-card poker hand out of the rest. Whoever puts together the best five-card poker hand wins $100.
This year the six stops are Sky Lounge, the Eagles Club, Garrett’s Mill, Silver Creek Saloon, Slim & Jumbos and the Villager Emporium.

After everyone returns to Sky Lounge from the crawl, the best hand will be determined, and then everyone will enjoy a catered dinner. There will also be a 50/50 raffle and a Chinese auction as well. Following dinner, it’s time for karaoke.

This event is a blast and it continues to grow! Consider making time for a little merriment with friends before the hustle and bustle of the season begins.
