Sandra J. Koharchik, 72 years of age, passed away on Sunday, July 19, 2020 after a long battle with Parkinson’s disease. Born in Cleveland, Ohio on August 28, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Mark and Mary (Germack) Sinden.

On February 27, 1965, she married Joseph Koharchik and they spent 55 years together building their life, raising their daughters and enjoying their time together. She was a compassionate, nurturing, loving wife, daughter, mother, and Nonnie. Her happiest moments were spent with her family and she looked forward to backyard cook-outs, birthdays, holidays and any time she got to spend with her family.
Sandy retired from National Art Craft in Aurora, where she had been a customer service manager. She enjoyed crafting, working in her garden and spending the day junking with her girls.

She is survived by her husband Joseph, daughters Michelle (Robert) Zivoder and Claudia (Brian Salvagni) Koharchik, grandsons Benjamin (Andrew) Coll, Steven (Lindsey) Zivoder, Jesse (ShyAnn) Zivoder, Alex Hahn and granddaughter Emma Hahn.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Clifford of Seattle, Washington. At Sandy’s request, there will be no calling hours. Cremation has taken place. Arrangements are by the Shorts-Spicer-Crislip Funeral Home in Streetsboro.
