Sam enjoyed touring local covered bridges, gardening, and his weekends with bonfires. Most of all, Sam loved spending time with devoted family and friends.

Sam will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Teresa (nee Carpenter) McGarvey, who was blessed to share over 44 years of marriage; son, Terry I. McGarvey; brother, David P. (Susan) McGarvey; brothers-in-law, Donnie Carpenter and Eric S.
