Ruth G. Oakford, 90, of Garrettsville, passed away on Tuesday, January 15, 2019. She was born on June 25, 1928 in Fayette County, PA to James & Margaret Race.
She retired from Perlmutter Printing in Cleveland, Ohio. Ruth enjoyed gardening and loved to travel.
Ruth is survived by her son, Kenneth Gearing; daughters, Diane Perotti, Patricia Gearing and Sandra Crow; sisters, Mary and Jane; grandchildren, Lisa, Sean, Michael, Beryl, Eric, Ryan, Amber and Lindsey and 5 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George B. Oakford; son, Edward James Gearing and sister, Rose Marie.
Honoring Ruth’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Burial will take place at a later date.
