The Garrettsville-Hiram Rotary Club met on October 16, 2023 to discuss the following topics :
Exchange student Sarra enjoyed the recent tour of Cleveland and is looking forward to the Cedar Point event, also sponsored by the district. The semi-annual Trash Pick-up, part one, on Saturday, was a success, acquiring lotsa styrofoam and having good, new bags to accomplish their mission. Date for the annual Christmas party was set at December 18. The district governor will be making her rounds of District 630 clubs and should be checking in sometime soon. Since Sarra will be making a presentation to the district conference, a local program, possibly to a larger audience might be a welcome event.
The Reverse Raffle is coming right up. Tickets are available. Sponsorships and donations are still welcome. Baskets need filling. Tickets need selling. A great evening is in store.
Happy Bucks came in for the Browns win, birthday candles, a good day, tickets for a great show and interest in an interesting house.
