Garrettsville – More Family Week prep for the Garrettsville-Hiram Rotary–Carolyn Miller, liaison with the Windham Schools, outlined her very thorough plans and procedures promoting all phases of the operation.  She’s an organizer!  Other facets of the festivities–recognition for couples married fifty years or more (seeking nominations), contests (and judging of same), prizes, sponsors, Fun Day activities–all came in for discussion as well.  It’s coming and it’ll be , as advertised, FUN!

Amy Crawford will be stepping, at least temporarily, into the treasurer’s position.

Chris and Jessie Cavalier provided the program for the evening, as they introduced their newly-opened computer  business in Garrettsville.  Their Managed Service Package includes all sorts of features that computer users often don’t know that they need until they NEED them, RIGHT NOW.  These include IT maintenance, workstation management, set-ups, security–all tailored to fit the specific demands of individuals or businesses.  Could be classes or community outreach…could be repair…could be headache reduction…could be management of technical devices to ensure maximum utility and savings.  The FAQ session was lively.

Garrettsville-Hiram Rotary meets at 5:30 on Monday evenings in the Hiram College Dining Hall.  Dinner @ 5:30, meeting @ 6:00.
