Ronald J. Simsa, Sr., 84, of Hiram Twp., passed away Monday, August 21, 2023. He was born May 1, 1939, in Cleveland, to the late Frank and Mary (Senold) Simsa.
He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army. Ron retired after 45 years of service as an Engineer at Johnson Plastics. He enjoyed being with his grandchildren, fishing, and just being outdoors.
Ron will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Patsy (Fontanelle) Simsa, who was blessed to share over 61 years of marriage; sons, Ronald (Tammy) Simsa, Jr. and Richard (Grace) Simsa; 6 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; siblings, John, Maryan, Robert, and many nephews, nieces, and dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Frank (Vivian), as well as his brother John’s wife, Grace.
