Streetsboro Rockets’ track coach Robb Kidd says he was not going to make any judgements about his team based on how many points they scored at the Metro Athletic Conference meet but rather by the times they recorded last week at Woodridge High School in Peninsula. Although the Rocket girls placed third by scoring 89.50 points and the boys came in fourth with 81.50 points, the fifth-year coach was a happy camper.
“I am not sure how people look at third or fourth in the league and think that is not a great season but I judge us by the effort we put out there,” he said. “We had a phenomenal evening in the MAC and I could not be more proud of the boys and the girls.”
