The Ravenna Community Choir will present its 45th Anniversary Concert on Sunday, April 3 at 2 p.m. at the Ravenna Assembly of God. Special guest will be world renown composer Heather Sorenson who will conduct, sing and play piano with the choir. She is hired by the largest and most respected publishers in the world, and her pieces remain at the top of Bestsellers lists and Editor’s Choice selections. Her works are performed regularly at competitions, concerts, recitals and churches worldwide.
All Ravenna Community Choir concerts are sponsored in part by the Ravenna United Fund and are directed by Janis L. Harcar, with accompanist Rick DeMattia. The Ravenna Assembly of God is located at 6401 OH-14, Ravenna and is also accessible from Bryn Mawr Street. There is no admission fee for the concert although there is opportunity to make a love offering. There is free parking at the church. Overflow traffic may park at the Masonic Temple.
