Ravenna – The Portage County Hazard Mitigation Plan is currently being updated. It is necessary to update the plan every five years so that the county and participating communities remain eligible for pre-disaster and post-disaster mitigation grant programs.
We are currently nearing the end of the plan update process and invite residents of Portage County to participate by reviewing and providing comments on the draft plan. Residents can view the draft Portage County Hazard Mitigation Plan online at HTTPS://www.burtonplanning.com/portage-hmp.The public comment period starts on Nov. 18, 2020. Please review the draft plan and provide comments by Dec. 4, 2020.
